Quilted Tote Bag #2
This listing is for a one of a kind quilted tote bag.
I love playing around on my long arm, filling up every inch of a fabric and batting with fun quilting. I do this for fun, but then I am left with a gorgeous quilted thing…what to do with it? Make it into bags!
I free motion quilted the silver metallic linen exterior with a fun array or free motion designs. I used neon pink thread. This bag is lined with colorful Kaffe Fassett cotton fabric and has a slip pocket with a pen slip. The bag is bound with cotton twill. The straps are strong brown leather and attached with double cap rivets. This quilted bag has a layer of cotton batting, making it soft, but also lightweight.
This bag can carry quite a few things including a water bottle, small laptop computer, many lip balms and of course your wallet as well as a little sewing project (or book).
