Throw SIzed Texas Flag Quilt - Wavy (42"x64")
This listing is for a wonderful Texas Flag Quilt. I love the gentle waving lines that are quilted across the quilt. It looks like a breezy central Texas day. I hand appliqued the star onto the blue background with silk thread. I used Painters Pallett Solids in the colors; Poppy Red, White and Patriot Blue. The batting is a lofty Texas grown cotton and will crinkle up and get softer with each trip through the laundry. While this quilt will make a great throw quilt I am happy to add a hanging sleeve. The back of the quilt is a silver cotton sateen. I finished the quilt with a black and white stripe binding.
I recommend you wash this quilt in the cold cycle and tumble dry. It is a good idea to use a couple color catches with such a bold red fabric
