Rope Bowl Workshop
Rope Bowls: Are you ready to find some Zen in this wild and hectic world? Come join Tia as she shares some of the best techniques for making Rope Bowls, Baskets and Throw Rugs. Tia demonstrates several styles of bowls and how to finish them, as well as some smart shortcuts to save time. Any experience level is welcome for this workshop, which can surprisingly pack a sophisticated punch. Get lost in a project that is both instant gratification and functional. Participants leave with at least one finished bowl.

Improv Quilts Trunk Show & Improv Curves Workshop
Improv Quilts: Tia provides a fun and informative presentation expounding on her inspirations and best practices in making Improv quilts. Over the years of designing and making quilts, Tia has created a name for herself with Improv quilting techniques. Designed and created in her studio, Tia displays and explains select Improv quilts that feature applique and pieced blocks. Tia’s use of color and form create a thrilling picture of adventure and passion.
Improv Curves: Join Tia as she shows how to make amazing curved block quilts without a ruler or template. The workshop includes lessons on how to make Improv New York Beauty blocks as well as refined instruction on curves. Participants learn how ruler free cutting can create a one-of-a-kind quilt and liberate one from the meticulous structure that most quilters learn to follow early on. Created during the workshop, attendees will leave with several Improv curve blocks that progress in level of difficulty.
