Improv Pieced and Quilted Boxy Zipper Bag

This bag began as a small study in Improv with strip piecing and the incorporation of slight curves. It looked great as a flat piece, but I have stacks of quilts and why not make it into a bag? The inside of the bag is silver cotton sateen, I used a grey metal zipper and wool batting. I had a very good time giving this piece some very fun texture with the free hand quilting.
This bag is a great size for sewing notions, art supplies, or your top secret notes on cold fusion. I love looking at this bag. Every time I do I find a new element. This is one of the bags I look at and am so thrilled that I made it.
