Zipper bag made from vintage quilt 8

This is a special piece. I made this little zipper bag from a vintage quilt top made entirely of half square triangles. The quilt had been a tied quilt but it was in sad shape. I removed all the ties, mended the bad spots and requilted it with new batting and a new quilt back. I have made several items from this old quilt and each one is utterly charming. I love looking at the old fabrics and wondering about the quilter who made it. I like the idea of this quilter from the past having her work admired and loved by as many people as possible.
